She is apparently kept company by the ghost of Hugh MacDonald, who plotted against the rightful clan chief in the 1600s, and who was starved to death in the dungeon at Duntulm. The return route along the shore offers an alternative view of Duntulm Castle. Rubha Hunish walk starts at Shulista which is 24miles from Portree. There is space for about 8 cars in the carpark.
