51k. 222 Pirelli edition GTi's were sold in the UK but none of them were yellow. VW built 170 in this colour and this one was imported from Japan by a VAG specialist in England. The engine in the Pirelli edition is the same spec as the Edition 30 engine so a bit more poke than a standard GTi due to uprated fuel pump, bigger injectors and a K04.
